Rogers tosses no-no for Lady Raiders in win

TYRONE- Just say no.
Bellefonte hurler Lexi Rogers told that to Tyrone Friday as she pitched the first no-hitter of her fine young career.
The Lady Raiders offense said yes and provided the spark needed, plating 10 to give Bellefonte the
10-0 in just a five inning contest.
In the second inning, the Red Raiders scored three to get the scoring started.
It would be a quiet game offensively until the fifth inning when Bellefonte added seven.
It then put the game in Rogers hands to end it and end it she did.
The Red Raiders got multi hit games from Mallorie Smith single/double, Hanna Lauck single/double and Taylor Kerr – double/triple/home run.
In the no-hit bid Rogers struck out six, walked one en route to the victory.
Quite the way to end the week
