Saint Joseph’s notched win over Line Mountain

The Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy Wolfpack baseball trailed by as many as five, but came back to top Line Mountain on Tuesday, 12-5.

The Wolfpack flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring six runs on one hit to take a 6-5 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Arthur Welsh that drove in two.

A double by Derrick Stoicheff, and a single by Cameron Guss helped The Wolfpack extend their early lead in the third.

Stoicheff provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Wolfpack with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Sam Krasowitz went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Saint Joseph’s in hits. The Wolfpack had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Saint Joseph’s  turned one double play in the game.
