Tough day on links for MC

MIfflin County traveled to participate in a golf match Tuesday at Scotch Valley Country Club. MC went 0-2 on the day, losing to both Hollidaysburg and Phillipsburg Ocseola. MC now has a record of 8-25 on the season. The huskies were lead on the day by Zack Weader with a score of 86, which was the second best score on the day. The huskies are back in action on Monday September 25th at the Mid Penn Championships.
Hollidaysburg took the contest with a score of 357. Gaige Orndoff led the way for his team with an 85. Teammates, John Fleck and Zach Gallagher posted 90s to lead the way for Hollidaysburg.
Philipsburg -Osceola finished its day with a 384. Leading the way for the Mounties was Chad Frank with an 89.
Also finishing in double figures on the day were Brandon Singer 91 and Ky Bender 96.
