7MW brings joy for fans and pain to each other!

By Joshua Yoder:
LEWISTOWN – The people of Lewistown were given yet another exciting action of professional wrestling courtesy of Seven Mountains Wrestling Friday night over at the Sharon Davis Arena.
The show began with the King of the Streets and 7MW World champion D-Licious who addressed the crowd about challenger DeMarcus Kane who apparently wasn’t going to be able to make the show for their championship match.
However, that was proven to be a false report as Kane appeared to the roar of the 7MW fanbase and informed everyone that the only reason that he was late was because of D-Licious just so that he wouldn’t have to face him.
Throughout the match, it was very clear that Kane was more interested in hurting D-Licious than winning the title. Despite D’s best efforts to escape and scame his way out with the championship, Kane powered his way to victory and became the new 7MW World Champion.
Unfortunately for the newly crown champion, he didn’t have much if any time to celebrate his win as the King of the Streets’ henchman attempted to blasted Kane with a baseball bat but was thwarted by BJ Walker who earlier in the show won a grueling battle royal where it ended with him pinning Matt “TRK” Silks to earn the right to challenge Kane at a later date.
But just when it seemed safe, Walker than hammered Kane and literally broke the bat over Kane’s back. Walker reminded Kane that now being the champion means there is a target and plans to hit the bullseye.
Truth Serum was making a lot of noise all over social media prior to the event and they would continue to do so throughout the evening as all three members competed in singles action.
However it was a bit of a slow start for the trio with Brotha Shabazz fell to Adrian Bliss and his unique offense.
Things only got more violently for Truth Serum as Brotha Rakim after betraying his mentor Rob Noxious ended up facing him in a brutal hardcore match which ended with Rob slamming both Rakim and Shabazz through steel chairs for the one, two, three.
But leader Aaron Truth scored the lone victory for the Truth Serum in one of the most intense battles of the evening as Aaron defeated Malcolm King thanks to interferes from Rakim after the Lights went out and jumped King which allowed Truth to hit the Frog Splash and became the new 7MW No-DQ Champion.
There were plenty of other new champions throughout the show which included the 7MW Women’s Championship as Dodge Inya went up against Valerie Vermin and the Redneck Chick Izzy McCoy. Things got hectic right away in the match as Inya knocked Vermin out with one of her roller skates forcing her to “leave” the match. But while McCoy and Inya were throwing haymakers at one another, Vermin snuck in from behind and dropped Inya with a big boot to the face and scored the pin to become the new Women’s champ! Afterwards she addressed the fans and promised to be a fighting champion.
The American Hammer Matt Quay was site to defend his Sky High title in a 6 Man Scramble match. To say the odds were stacked against him was an understatement. To make matters worse, Quay came out number one and was joined by Andy Header. But competitors showed a great deal of respect to one another throughout the match but ultimately it was the American Hammer who came out victorious. But then next in line was Sam Thompson and at one point it looked as though Thompson was able to eliminate Quay, but the American Hammer dug down deep and pulled it out and eliminated Thompson.
Though the damage was done as EN Bush came out next and despite his best efforts, just could not overcome the fatigue and Bush managed to take advantage of took out Quay. However the crowd erupted with the arrival of Lewistown’s own J-Kat who was able to upset Bush with a roll up. The only problem was, afterwards Bush immediately laid out J-Kat embarrassed of being taking out of the Scramble match which left J-Kat laying and easy pickings for Allen Cross who was the final entrant.
Or so did many of us thought as J-Kat somehow, some way pulled out another miracle and defeated Cross is now the NEW! Sky High Champion.
There was a special appearance at the show as Internet Sensation Jack Vaughn graced the fans after a long trip all the way from Cincintai, Ohio and the certainly made the most of it as the Veteran went one on one with General Keisel. The match went back and forth before Vaughn finished the job and celebrated with the fans.
Long time fan favorite JT Funk was also in action during the show as he defeated newcomer Eric X Black.
There was a special moment during the show as Kyle Thomas the son of long time wrestler Tyler Symz looked to make his debut during the battle royal. However his father Symz refused to allow him to wrestle.
In fact, he even challenged him to a match and see if Thomas could last five minutes in the ring with him. Not only did Kyle last five minutes against his father, he was victorious thanks to the help of the 7MW Tag Champs the Ghost Riders. However the Symz went on an assault afterwards and dropped chair shot after chair shot on his son before again the Ghost Riders intervene.
It ended up only being a trick as later in the show Symz teamed up with King Kahlua against the Ghost Riders for the 7MW Tag Titles. Symz looked to use the title as a weapon but Kyle appeared and grabbed it from him. When everyone thought Kyle was going to hit his father, but turned and blasted Xeno in the face and gave Vintage Gold the 7MW Tag Team Championships.
See you next time for some more Seven Mountains Wrestling Action!
