MC golf team has home debut, finished .500 on the afternoon

The MIfflin County golf team was at Lewistown Country Club today for their home Mid-Penn match.

The Huskies went 3-for-3 on the day. Mifflin County beat Palmyra, Bishop McDevitt and Cedar Cliff. The Huskies lost to Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, and Red Land.

MC was lead on the day by Colby Seiler who shot 74, which was good for 3rd place overall. Jackson Flood shot 85, which was good for 11th overall. Evan Breon was tied for 12th with an 88, and Jacob Bauman rounded out the scoring with a 99. Jace Rishel fired a very solid 88, but was not eligible to count for the team total.

Mifflin County now stands at 6-7 overall, and 6-6 in the Mid-Penn Keystone Division. MC is back in action on Thursday, 8/24, at Colonial Country Club, home of Bishop McDevitt.
