Bellefonte 12s victorious again; drops Mo Valley

Chalk up the win for Bellefonte!!

In District 5 12u winners bracket game held this evening between Moshannan Valley and Bellefonte, it would belong to the Red Raiders. The game was played at Bellefonte but it would be Mo Valley that won the toss and chose to be the home team.

But it would be Bellefonte that would notch the 6-0 victory.

The Bellefonte offense scored six runs on six hits and left nine on base.

Mo Valley tallied only three hits while committing four errors with three left on base.

Bellefonte’s Cole Houser notched the complete game, picking up the victory while mounting 10 strike outs.

Mo valley’s Brady Kephart was the losing pitcher.

Top hitters for Bellefonte were

Braeden Fortney (Double/Single),

Zach Lehman (2 singles, 1 RBI),

Quinn Park (Double, RBI) and

Triston Heeman (single, 2 RBI).

Mo Valley were led by Rocco Reifer (2 singles) and Bo Washell (single).
