Bellefonte boys explode for 9-goal effort

The Bellefonte boys soccer held a scoring clinic Wednesday night as they topped Huntingdon 9-0.

Andy Gerasenko led the scoring posting a hat trick for the Red Raiders. Teammate Ethan Wilson picked up two en route to the victory.

Tonight was a great team win. Two games in a row now we moved the ball really well,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “Defensively our guys played really composed and moved the ball up to our midfield well. It was nice to get our subs in and they all well we didn’t have a drop off tonight at all.”

Bellefonte got the scoring started at 2:36 when Gerasenko scored via an assist from Collin Sharp.

At 4:16,  Wilson scored thanks to an assist Brady Wertz.

19:08 Andy Gerasenko picked up his second goal of the game at 19:09 off an assist by Ollie Thornburg.

Next at 35:52, Wilson scored again with the assist from Andy Gerasenko.

Rounding out the first half scoring as Gerasenko 36:22.

In the second half, Bellefonte got goals from Collin sharp, Brady wertz

Logan proctor and Abdul Wain.

The Red Raiders outshot Huntingdon  21-1.
