Bellefonte boys second while the girls finished fourth at BVI

And they’re off!

Both the Bellefonte boys and girls cross country teams shined Saturday at the Big Valley Invitational finishing second and fourth, respectively.

On the boys’ side,  the team placed 2nd in the AA division and were only 10 points from winning.

The Raiders placed 4th overall out of 17 total teams.  

Caleb Vinnedge and Kaiden Williams were the first AA boys to cross the finish line in the JV race, earning medals.

Chase Ebeling placed 12 and Alex Crist placed 26 out of 130 runners and earned medals.

On the girls’ side, the Lady Raiders placed 4th in the AA division.

Varsity girls placed 10th out of 16 total teams.

Ashleigh Aukerman placed 35 out of 121 runners, earning a medal.  

Bellefonte’s next meet is on September 14 at Penns Valley against Penns Valley and Philipsburg.
