Bellefonte boys shut out Tyrone

Goals aplenty.

The Bellefonte boys soccer  exploded for seven goals Monday night against Tyrone.

In the end, it would be the Red Raiders winning 7-0.

We moved the ball really well tonight which gave us some good quality shots. Defense play well in the shut out and did a great job moving the ball through the back to our mids,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz.

“Andy Gerasenko was lights out tonight scoring 4 goals and having 2 assists.”

At 5:45 Brady Wertz scored thanks to an assist from Andy Gerasenko.

Gerasenko notched his first goal at 13:02 off an assist by John Servant.

Minutes later at 16:18, Collin Sharp scored off an assist from Wertz.

At 20:21 Gerasenko scored again, this time off an assist from Ethan Wilson.

32:01 Servant scored at 32:01 off an  assist by Gerasenko.

At 33:15, Gerasenko scored the last goal of the first half.

Gerasenko rounded out the scoring with a goal at 43:43.

Bellefonte Keeper Eli Davis finished with six goals.

Bellefonte led in shots on goal by a  20-6 margin.
