Bellefonte boys soccer team explodes for 10-goal outing

BELLEFONTE – Bombs away!

The Bellefonte boys soccer team had a very busy time time at the Tyrone goals Thursday night as the team combined to top the Eagles 10-0.

Offensively, the Red Raiders outshot Tyrone 23-8. Bellefonte also took care of the corner opportunities leading 6-0.

Bellefonte’s goalie Eli Davis tallied four saves while replacement goalie Tyler willits also finished with four.  Tyrone goalkeeper Devon Nardelli finished with 11 saves.

“The guys played really well tonight. We moved the ball really well and got a lot of guys in the scoring column,” said Bellefonte coach Seth Miller. “They played very unselfish soccer and everyone got involved. The defense played really well tonight and did a great job keeping the ball in our offensive half.”

Picking up goals in the first half were

Ethan Wilson (4:06), Colin Sharp assist Ethan Wilson (6:54), Brady Wertz assist Colin Sharp (10:03), Andy Geresanko assist Tate Tooker

(20:32), Andy Geresanko (30:46) and Colin Sharp (38:05).

Bellefonte finished off the second half with goals from Brady wertz assist Colin Sharp (44:46), Andy Geresanko (51:39) and Eli Davis (77:23)

Bellefonte’s next game is Tuesday at home vs Forest Hills at 6:45.
