Bellefonte girls fall to sizzling Bearcat team

Huntingdon got off to a strong start Friday against the young Bellefonte girls basketball team leading 16-4 after the opening period.
The Lady Bearcats continued its strong shooting en route to the 57-23 victory over the Bellefonte girls basketball team.
Lily Borger led the Bearcats in scoring with 21 while teammate Alexis Troup had 13.
Rounding out the double-digit scorers was Savannah Fiscus with 10.
Bellefonte was led by Emma Rossman with six.
“Huntingdon played tremendous pressure defense and we just couldn’t handle it tonight. We are a work in progress and we learned a good lesson tonight,” said Bellefonte coach Marcus Toomer.
Bellefonte’s Current Record stands at 1-4.
Next Game for the Lady Raiders is Monday at Selinsgrove.
