Bellefonte gymnasts shows that they’re a force to be reckoned with

Red Raiders talents were on full display recently when the Bellefonte High School Varsity Gymnastics team qualified for the PA States competition this past weekend in Moon Township, PA and competed in the PA Classic. 

In addition to the team qualifying, they also had gymnasts qualify and were eligible to compete in individual events.  

The gymnasts who earned medals at the event were: 

Sarah Conner – Silver Division

8th Place – Bars 

Score:  8.20

 

Emily Hovies – Bronze Division 

4th Place – Bars 

Score :  7.275

Brynn Miller – Bronze Division 

2nd Place – Floor 

Score 8.183 

2nd Place – All Around 

Score 30.558

Editor’s personal note: Congratulations to all those athletes and continued success as they move on. They have proved to be leaving a strong legacy in their sport.
