Bellefonte remains undefeated, drops Bellwood-Antis

Quick and Painless.

The Bellefonte baseball team improved its record to a perfect 6-0 on the season Tuesday as they made quick work of Bellwood-Antis 10-0 in front of the home crowd at Governor’s Park.

Braedyn Kormanic picked up the win for the Red Raiders as he finished with a one-hitter in the five inning run-shortened victory.

Levi Purnell was the lone multiple hitter on the night as he went 2-for-2 with 3RBIs and two runs scored.

Teammate Parker Capperelle and Ryan Fraley both tallied a 2RBI afternoon en route to the victory.

Bellefonte opened up its offensive evening with nine runs in the first.

From there, the Red Raiders defense was impenetrable.

The Red Raiders put the game on ice in the third, plating one run, making it a 10-0 contest.

That would be all the Bellefonte squad would need as they cruised to the victory.
