Bellefonte ups Record to 7-1-1; tops BEA

A rivalry renewed!

The Bellefonte and Bald Eagle Area boys soccer team met in a Mountain League showdown Wednesday afternoon.

The Raiders took advantage of a tough defense and opportunistic offense to defeat Bald Eagle 2-0.

The guys played well tonight,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “We had some nice passing and good finishes tonight.

Leading the way for Bellefonte were Hayden Walker and Andy Geresanko, who both scored goals.

Walker’s goal came off an assist by Geresanko while Geresanko’s goal came off a Walker pass for the score.

With a Raiders record of 7-1-1, Bellefonte remains one of the best in the Mountain League.
