East Juniata boys tie TVL opponent Halifax

East Juniata’s Joey Haines and teammate Blaise Lauver posted goals in Tuesday night’s Tri-Valley League contest against Halifax.

However, the Wildcats did the same, finishing the contest as a 2-2 stalemate in Overtime.

“Several nice goals were scored.  One goal for each team were off of crossed balls.  Finishes were one time,” East Juniata coach Frontz.

“After a rough first 20 minutes defensively, we settled in and played well defensively.  For the number of good scoring chances we had, 2 goals would not

seem like enough.  Even though it wasn’t the result we were looking for, there are some areas of improvement so we just need to keep making adjustments 

and getting better,” said Frontz.
