Bellefonte XC sweeps past the competition

Yesterday, Bellefonte, Hollidaysburg, and Clearfield cross country teams competed at Clearfield.

The Boys’ Team topped Clearfield 15-50.

They also picked up another win defeating Hollidaysburg 21-35.

Bellefonte Mountain League improves to a record of 6-0.

Chase Eberling led the Raiders with a time of 17:12 while Alex Enerling finished second with a time of 17:27.

Other Raiders finishing in the top 5 was a fifth place by Alex Mansfield with a time of 18:49.

On the girls side, Bellefonte was the only team with five girls.

Bellefonte defeated Clearfield an Hollidaysburg with the same score of 15-50.

Leading the charge for Bellefonte were Ashley Ackerman who finished third with a time of 24:03 and Haley Herr with a finishing 4th place time of 26:30.

Bellefonte Mountain League record improves to a record of 4-2.

Bellefonte cross country will be racing at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday, October 9th.
