Bellefonte’s Marsh’s grand slam helps score five in fifth for win over Tyrone

BELLEFONTE – It just took one big inning.
Up against a feisty Tyrone team, the Bellefonte baseball team found its self trailing late in the contest 4-1 going into bottom of the fifth inning.
Having a flare for the dramatic, the Red Raiders got their bats out, scoring five en route to the 6-4 victory.
Bobby Marsh led the comeback with a grand slam.
The Marsh home run, total erased the three runs the Eagles’ previously scored in the top of the inning.
On the mound, the Red Raiders’ hurler Ashton Wetzler picked the win while teammate Garrett Kuhn picked up the save.
CJ Funk also picked up a double to go with Marsh’s home run.
Tyrone scored first, as the Eagles plated one in the top of the third.
Bellefobte tied things in the bottom of the fourth, setting up the very competitive fifth that saw Tyrone score three before Bellefonte retaliated with five and the victory.
