Book competes at Indoor track and field championship

UNIVERSITY PARK – East Juniata Senior Josef Book competed in his second PTFCA Indoor High School Track & Field State Championship in the 60 meter hurdles on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Penn State University.
Josef ran a 8.52 in the prelims, but didn’t advance to the finals. He placed 19th overall in the event. He also made it last year in the hurdles as a junior. Trevon Foster of The Hill School won the boys 60 meter hurdles with a time of 7.85.
