CPW makes triumphant return to Lewistown

By Josh Yoder

LEWISTOWN – After a two year hiatus, pro wrestling returned to Lewistown at the M. R. Stax gym for some old fashion wrestling action.

“It’s really awesome coming home after two years of not having a CPW show,” James Dylan said. “You kinda think who’s going to show up. So you’re always worried about those things then you walk through the building and there are 250-plus people in here and pack the place out. Yeah, it’s pretty awesome.”

It was a special event for one particular pro wrestler in the Bulldog James Dylan who dedicated the entire show to his late Grandmother who recently had passed away.

“Tonight was really special because a year ago my grandmother passed away,” Dylan said. “CPW was a family business. Everyone helped with it. It was really a family thing,  so this being the first show that she wasn’t at plus it being a year and missing her,  it was cool to be able to talk about her. She really ment a lot to me.”

The show didn’t really go the way Bulldog wanted it as he was really scheduled to face long time rival Robnoxious who was more than happy to face him in honor of Dylan’s grandmother. Before they were rudely interrupted minutes into their match.

“She’s up there looking down on us,” Rob said. “I’m sure she was proud of it and proud of all of us.”

However, things didn’t go to plan as the Pony Express interfered,  ending the match to a no contest forcing Bulldog and Rob to challenge them for the Tag team titles later in the evening.

With the stage set for the Tag team titles in a Tables match, the Pony Express went on the attack early on on Robnoxious with Bulldog nowhere in sight. Then suddenly, Dylan appeared out of nowhere except, it was the Dylan’s alter ego Sunny Daze and went on the rampage.

From then on the duo of Rob and Daze took control of the match. But that’s when things got a bit controversial. Late in the match Rob had sent Stefon through the table to win the match.

Unfortunately, the referee was knocked out and didn’t see it. That’s where the Pony Express took advantage dropping Rob placing him on the broken table as the ref awoken and called for the bell allowing the Pony Express to retained the titles.

But Pony Express manager J-Money saw the match differently.

“I think some people were confused with what they seen,” J-Money said. “I don’t think they’re correct at all we worked for those victories no one can take that away from us.”

The Pony Express was just one of three victories for the Bloodline as Mr. Ping and Petey Noxious had also scored victorious as the Bloodline continues its quest to the most dominating faction in Pro Wrestling today.

“My faction performed absolutely perfect,” J-Money said. “They are wrestling, they eat, sleep and breathe professional wrestling like myself.”

Ed House looked to retain his World heavyweight title in a three way dance that included Malcolm King and ECW legend CW Anderson in the evenings main event. And Ed did just that taking advantage and dropping an elbow from the top rope onto a falling King for the one, two , three.

“Well I won so that’s a step in the right direction,” House said. “CW Anderson is the real deal.”

Though he came up just short, CW Anderson gave high praise for both House and King.

“It was Hard fought. Ed House, And Malcolm King both hard hitters,” Anderson said. “You know I spent a lot of time in Japan doing strong style getting hit hard and delivering it and those two brought it. Came up on the short but you can’t spell CPW without CW so I’ll be back.”
