East Juniata boys hosted Halifax on Tuesday night. The Tigers played well maintaining a consistent level of intensity throughout the contest and won 3-1. Gabe Agostinho scored EJ’s first goal with 4:48 to play in the first half off an assist from Cade Brubaker. Seth Strawser put EJ up 2-0 with a goal with 3:27 to play in the first half off an assist from Trent Watts. Halifax scored their lone goal with 35:20 remaining in the second half. Adam Finkbiner closed the scoring for the Tigers with a well-placed shot with 17:28 remaining in the second half. Mike Ryan had 2 saves for East Juniata. East Juniata had 4 corner kicks and Halifax had 3. East Juniata hosts Greenwood on Thursday.
