After being injured in the fall during a Huskies football game, MIfflin County Senior Brycen Hassinger showed that he had the warrior mentality as he was able to walk up to the plate and bat despite all early odds.
After being told he wouldn’t be able to play the entire baseball season, Hassinger got the go ahead to be cleared to have one last special at bat.
The gutsy Huskies batter walked to the plate and gutted out a walk before being replaced by a pinch runner.
Hassinger proved he had the heart of a champion with battling through an injury to get one special moment on the baseball diamond, showing everyone that he was going out his way and wouldn’t let the injury totally ruin his senior year.
