Huskies continues to dominate its opponents in mat action; defeats Chambersburg

LEWISTOWN – And the beat goes on!

Thursday night in the Dawg Pound, the MIfflin County wrestling team dominated yet another opponent. This time it would be Chambersburg that would take the loss as the Huskies rolled to a 50-16 home victory.

Starting at 152, Mifflin County’s Parker Kearns took his match in fine fashion picking up the pin fall at 1:50 over Andrew Hull.

Kyler Everly dominated the 160-pound match as he won by pinfall over Ryder Davenport at 2:58.

172: Avery Aurand made it three pins for the Huskies as he pinned Garnett Pisle back to the mat at 1:53.

After Chambersburg tried to make a mini run, the Huskies got back on track at 285.

Jaxson Pupo notched MIfflin County’s fourth pin of the night coming at the expense of Avery Kuhns at 0:45.

At 113, Nic Allison picked up an easy win, picking up the forfeit.

120-pounder Hunter Johnson took an 8-3 decision over Luke  Mentzer.

For the second time of the night, the Huskies picked up the forfeit. At 126, Colby Seiler lifted his hand in victory with the easy result.

Jacob Cunningham gave the Huskies another pinfall at 138. Cunningham got the 1-2-3 pin fall over Reese Spedden at 0:48.

Rounding out the night for the Huskies at 145, Deakon Schaeffer picked up a tech fall over Jared Hepner 21-6 at 4:00.
