Juniata baseball doubles up Wolfpack

MIFFLINTOWN- The Juniata baseball team picked up a double-dip sweep of Saint Joseph’s Academy Thursday at the Indians’ home field.

In the first game, the Indians won 10-0 while in the second game Juniata followed with an 8-0 victory.

Grant Reinhold led the offensive attack with a 2-for-2 4RBI performance.

Brandon Snyder and Mason Nipple rounded out the multiple hitters for the victors with two hits apiece.

Juniata punched eight hits throughout the five inning contest. The Wolves tallied only two.

Picking up the win for “Big Red” was Carson Kepner.

Juniata 8, Saint Joseph’s Academy 0

Despite only five hits in their second outing of the day versus the Wolfpack, the Indians made the most of its opportunities, taking a 8-0 victory.

Saint Joseph’s Academy finished with two in the tough loss.

Gage Harlon had two of the five Indian hits.

Others picking up hits for Juniata were Grant Reinhold, Wyatt Stoner and Cam Bargo.
