Juniata boys survives thriller over Millersburg
On Saturday, the Juniata boys soccer team posted a nail biting win against Millersburg , winning 3-2.
In the first half, the two teams finished tied at one as Millersburg hit the first goal, taking the 1-0 lead.
Juniata scores minutes later as Stuart Dare found the back of the net thanks to an assist by Jelvin Cardenas.
Millersburg came out of the second half and placed its second goal at 37:39.
But Juniata has answer as the Indians tied the game at 31:38 on Cardedas’ second goal.
With time running out in the contest, Juniata pulled out the win at 9:52 when Bryce Rush scored off an assist by Jelvin Cardenas.
Juniata led in the shots on goal department by a 15-7 margin and led in corner opportunities by a 6-5 mark.
