Juniata girls pick up TVL victory over Line Mountain

The Juniata girls basketball team continued to pick up the victories.

Monday night, the Lady Indians took care of Line Mountain 54-37 in a Tri-Valley League battle.

Malin Kint sparked the Juniata offense with a team high 14.

Teammate Mya Rush was next in the scoring column with 13 while Olivia Clark rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11.

14’s were wild for Juniata as it posted 14 in the first and second quarters.

It’s defense allowed Line Mountain to only five points in the first.

Things were a little closer in the second as Line Mountain posted 12.

Going into the intermission, Juniata held a tough 28-17 advantage.

Coming out into the third quarter, Juniata and Line Mountain were at a stalemate both posting 11.

The Lady Indians put the game away in the final stanza posting a 15-10 scoring spree en route to the TVL victory.
