Juniata girls shut out UDA

Juniata’s offense scored early and often in a win over UDA 8-0 Wednesday.

Only 1:30 seconds into the game Katey Martin opened up with a self goal from outside the 18.

With 29:43 left Megan Brubaker found the back of the net with an assist from Ashlyn Pannebaker.

To wrap up the first half on scoring with only 1:42 left, Ashlyn Pannebaker posted a goal that she received as a deflection off of a UDA defender.

Kali Foltz was in the goal for Juniata, she collected a save.

In the 2nd Half only 21 seconds in, Megan Brubaker found Hailey Kepner who blasted it into the far post for a goal.

At 37:77 Ashlyn Pannebaker scored off the assist from Hailey Kepner.

At the 14:36 mark Semeria Malcolm scored (self goal).

Again with 6:30 left in the game Semeria Malcolm followed a shot that Julia Burns took that deflected off of UDA’s keeper. Semeria was right there to finish it.

To wrap up the scoring was Makenzie Beward with her own goal with 50 seconds left in the game.

Olivia Laub was in goal for Juniata in the 2nd half with two saves.

Juniata led in total shots by a 31-3 margin and led on corners 7-0.

Juniata improves to 2-1 on the season.
