Juniata girls top St.Joseph’s Academy in three

The Juniata softball team dominated Monday, topping St. Joseph’s Academy 16-0 in three innings.

All starters hit safely and scored, and pitcher Liz Gaisior struck out all nine batters she faced, including her 500th career strikeout. Hope Kehler and Ashley Piper had their first varsity hits and RBIs.

With the win, Juniata improved to 3-1 while St. Joseph’s Catholic drops to 0-4.
