Juniata matmen tops Halifax in TVL wrestling match

The Juniata Hs wrestling team dominated Halifax Wednesday night taking a 52.0-18.0 contest.

Starting the night out at 145, the result was a Double Forfeit.

Halifax took the first full contest at 152 when Dillon Galkowski won by forfeit.

Juniata notched its first win of the night at 160. Josh Bomberger won by forfeit.

At 172, the Indians Harrison Mummah topped Harrison Rhoades by Tech. Fall(17-0) at 5:14.

Halifax notched a victory at 189 when Carter Enders pinned oJaeden Kuhn at 0:35.

215-pounder Jonathan  Kauffman gave Juniata another forfeit win.

Things continued to roll at 285 when Cade Sweitzer pinned Nicholas Carroll at 1:19.

106-pounder Joey Bomberger notched an easy victory via another Halifax forfeit.

113-pounder Amelia Smith got the win via a forfeit as well.

At 120, Juniata’s Casey Smith won by forfeit.

Taylor Smith won easily at 126 for the Indians by forfeit.

At 132, Juniata’s Daniel Painter continued the forfeit win.

Rounding out the contest at 138, Halifax’s Peter Ranck (HAH) won by forfeit, giving Juniata the victory.
