Kanagy, UVA Wise heating up as of late

The UVA Wise Cavaliers have been turning up the heat as of late. The team has been red hot. The team has won three straight series wins against top conference opponents.

Leading the way is former East Juniata hurler, Daniel Kanagy.

Kanagy made his first start of the season this past weekend. He pitched five scoreless innings to lead the Cavs to a shutout 3-0 victory against Coker University. On the mound in his last 11.1 innings, Kanagy has been all scoreless ones with nine strikeouts bringing his conference ERA to 0.00 and his season ERA to 2.35.
