“I’m very proud of how they played tonight. The first time we played them we lost 50-17.  They came out and the pressed us real hard,” said Bellefonte coach Marcus Toomer. “We came out and beat it too. Tyrone is a great shooting team  and they were able to make a lot of open shots. I thought the girls played great defense and I thought we did a fantastic job it’s definitely an improvement from last time.”

The Red Raiders came out and went toe-to-toe with the Golden Eagles early.

After a Red Raider turnover, Tyrone went up 5-0 with a bucket from Gibbons.

But Tyrone extended its lead on its second triple of the young contest.

This time it was Stephanie Ramsey with the Trey.

From there both defenses took over clamping down on the other.
