Lady Raiders top Bald Eagle 2-0

WINGATE – In the first edition of the yearly rivalry of the Bald Eagle Area girls and Bellefonte girls soccer, the Red Raiders scored two first half goals and then used its defense to hold on for the shut out victory over the friendly rival Monday in an evening affair.
Bellefonte opened the game with the ball and took the momentum from the very beginning and for most of the first half controlled the ball deep in the Eagles back third. From there, the defenses took over and the Lady Raiders came out victorious.
