Lady Rams fizzle Rockets, 11-2

The Penns Valley softball team rebounded sharply after its loss to Bellefonte as they topped Southern Huntingdon 11-2.

The Game was played at Penns Valley with the winning pitcher Allie O’Brien cruised to a seven strikeouts, two walk performance.

Taking the loss for the Lady Rockets was Allyson Leidy as she finished with four strikeouts, eight walks and 12 hits.

The Rams got out early posting three runs in the first, followed by a 2-run inning in the second to go up 5-1.

Southern would get as close as 5-2 before the Rams would score the next six unanswered run en route to the victory.
