Lady Tigers light up Lebanon Catholic 20-1

It was a great night on the diamond for the East Juniata Softball team as the Tigers defeated Lebanon Catholic 20-1.

East Juniata got hits from Carlee Barrick (1-for-1),Tiana Terry (2-for-3), Ashlynn Searer(2-for-2), Alyssa Robinson (1-for-3), Hailey Long (1-for-2), Aaliyah Lightner(1-for-2),Lexi Stuck (1-for-2).

Carlee Barrick was strong on the mound, allowing one hit in the win.

A. Searer highlighted the night for the Tigers with a 3-run home run.

“Tonight we were able string hits together early and capitalize on the walks. The top of our lineup was solid, said East Juniata Coach Lauren Maguire. “Ashlynn Searer showed her strength in the second inning when she hit a 3 run homerun. Our top four batters, Carlee, Tiana, Ashlynn and Alyssa accounted for 9 RBI’s of the team’s 16. Defensively, Carlee threw a solid game from the mound. Our defense needs to continue to work on reducing errors each game.”
