Juniata baseball falls in extras to LM

The Juniata baseball team lost a nail biting 10-9 Tri-Valley League contest Tuesday against Line Mountain. The game went into extras before it would be decided.

Winning Pitcher  on the night was Gaw while Juniata’s Will Orwig took the loss. 

“We didn’t take advantage of early opportunities when we had runners in scoring position,” said Juniata coach Nic Beward. “We fought back into the game but came up short in extras.”

Juniata went through three Pitchers Josh Bomberger (K’s- 2 Walks- 1),

Paul Ames (K’s- 3 Walks- 1) and Orwig (K’s- 0 Walks- 0).

Juniata got doubles from Devon Nealman (1) and Jamie Bailer (1).

Juniata has three players with Multiple Hits (Including number of hits) They were Jamie Bailer (2-for-4), Jace White (2-for-5) and Jacob Condo (2-for-4).

Juniata got RBIs from Devon Nealman (1),Jace White (1),Jacob Condo (1), Josh Bomberger (1)

and Nathan Berry (2).
