MC boys knock off Mechanicsburg in road upset

Mifflin County pulled off a massive upset in the Keystone division, knocking off Mechanicsburg 60-55 on the road!

The Wildcats were at the top of the conference, but the Huskies were able to clinch their first win over Mechanicsburg since joining the conference with a total team effort.

The boys were led by senior Jaylen Bowersox, who shined with 22 points off the bench. Senior Jayden Bilger continued his dominant senior campaign with 19 points in the evening.

The JV Huskies lost a tough one to Mechanicsburg, falling 63-45. Freshman Lucas Hartung led the way with 10 points.

The team now sits at 8-11 on the year and winners of two straight, with the boys traveling to Hershey on Friday looking for another upset.
