MC comeback falls short, falls by two to Colts

Tough outing!

After falling behind early 5-0 against Cedar Cliff, the MIfflin County softball team battled back to within striking distance before running out of time, falling 5-3 Wednesday.

Riley Hine led the offensive rally, posting two hits and a run scored in the contest.

Dakota Hershberger helped the Huskies comeback attempting smashing a 2-run home run in the third, cutting it to a 5-2 Colts advantage.

Maddison Wolfgang grounded in a run in the seventh, putting her team within two. But it was too little, too late as the Huskies fell 5-3.
