MC field hockey goes .500 at Red Lion Invitational

The Mifflin County girls field hockey team went 1-1 Saturday at the Red Lion Field Hockey Tournament.

In Game 1, Mifflin County lost tough 3-2 loss against Bermudian Springs.

Hailee Sheetz had both goals for Huskies. Both were in the 4th quarter at 5:49 and 4:26.

Mifflin County goalie Sophie McCurdy had 21 saves.

In the Consolation match, Mifflin County topped Mifflinburg 4-1.

Hailee Sheetz had all four goals. One in the first quarter, one in the 3rd and two in the 4th quarter.

McCurdy had 8 saves.
