MC girls and boys fall to Hollidaysburg

The Mifflin County girls soccer team played their second road game in three days, traveled Monday to Hollidaysburg.

Hollidaysburg topped MIfflin County 4-1.

Hollidaysburg opened the game leading 2-0 as Alyssa Bell 25:39

and Paige Miller finished with goals at 25:39 and  34:18, making it a 2-0.

MIfflin County’s Aubrey Strohecker Picked up her teams lone goal off a pass from Brynn Knepp at 35:46,cutting it to a 2-1 contest.

But goals from Natalie Despot and Alyssa Bell put their team ahead at 46:44 and Alyssa Bell at 64:30.

Hollidaysburg outshot the Lady Huskies 13-8.

Corner Kicks were led by Hollidaysburg by a 7-3 margin.

In the save department,

MIfflin County’s Bailey McNitt collected nine while Hollidaysburg’s Avery Matherine did not have any.

MIfflin County fell to 0-1-0 in Mid-Penn action and 0-2-0 overall.  The Lady Huskies’ next game September 29 against Central Dauphin East.

There was no JV game.

Boys soccer

In the Boys game, the Huskies fell 2-0 to Hollidaysburg.
