MC girls soccer team falls on the road to Carlisle in a nail biter

The MIfflin County girls soccer took the road in their first game of the year, traveling to Carlisle.
It would be a nailbiter throughout the contest but in the end, Carlisle escaped with the 1-0 victory.
The Thundering Herd got a goal from Maria Franjicic at the 77:23 mark.
The Huskies finished with two shots on goal while Carlisle had 15.
Carlisle also had the advantage of corners, taking it 7-0.
Mifflin County goalie Bailey McNitt tallied 14 saves while Carlisle’s Addey Bolz was untested.
Mifflin County will be back in action Thursday at Juniata.
MC 0-0 League / 0-1 overall next
In JV action, Carlisle won their, winning 5-0.
