MC golfers continue strong season taking 2nd at Iron Valley
The Mifflin County Golf team competed today at Iron Valley Golf Club in Palmyra. The Huskies finished 2nd on the day, defeating Palmyra, Bishop McDevitt, Red Land, Carlisle, and Cedar Cliff. MC Lost to Mechanicsburg. Going 5-1 on the day now makes MIfflin County 20-7 overall, and 17-7 in the Mid-Penn. MC was led on the day by Blake Stringfellow who fired a 79, which was good for a top 5 finish. Dominic Weyman contributed a top 10 finish with an 85, Bryson Bubb chipped in with an 87, and Jackson Flood rounded out the scoring with a 91. MC is back in action Monday 9/12 at Carlisle.
