MC XC boys finish strong at Gettysburg Invitational

Led by Chris Royer’s 25th place finish (17:04), the Mifflin County Boys’ Cross Country team got off to a quick start to finish 6th in the 31 team field. Teammates Conrad Coffey (17:26) 38th, Caden Bell (17:26) 40th, Ben Hartzler (17:58) 72nd, and Cody Fultz (18:01) 78th rounded out the Husky scorers with Luke Breneman (18:24) 98th and Max Laudermilch (18:56)121st adding support.

“The boys really stepped up their game today in a very competitive field. Conrad, Caden, Cody and Luke all ran personal bests,” said Mifflin County coach Greg Loht. “I knew we were a better team than the one that raced Altoona on Wednesday. It was great seeing them running closer to their potential. There is still more in the tank and we look forward to the Mid Penn Championship next Saturday.”

Dominic Reed paced the Huskies (15th) in the jv race, while Hart Oden’s 13th helped the junior high to a 6th place finish in the 12 team field.
