Mifflin County 13-year old All-Stars will battle for a state title; drops Tri-Valley 1-0

Championship bound!

The Mifflin County 13-year old All-Stars continue to shine as they finished their 4-game journey unscathed and unbeaten.

Using many different ways to pick up its wins, the Mifflin County crew only scored one run but it would be enough for the team to defeat Tri-County 1-0.

Tuesday Mifflin County sent Madden Weaver to the mound to keep their winning streak alive.

He did not disappoint as he went the distance and failed to allow any Tri-County player to cross the plate. Doing that with only striking out one.

Offensively, the game winning run came off the bat of Chase Leister who picked up the RBI en route to his team’s victory.

Mifflin County will play for the title Wednesday as they will be in action at five.
