Mifflin County girls lacrosse open season with strong statement against Selinsgrove
SELINSGROVE – A sweet start to the season!
The MIfflin County girls lacrosse team opened their season with a contest on the road against Selinsgrove Saturday.
The Lady Huskies were successful and returned home as 8-4 winners over the Seals.
Mifflin County were led in scoring by Drukenmiller who tallied three.
Teammates Brenna Dobson and Emma Ritchey followed up with two each.
Rounding out the scoring was Mara Gallo.
Goalie Mikayla Bodley finished with four saves in the game.
In the JV contest, MIfflin County rolled to an 8-1 victory.
The Lady Huskies got goals from
Gallo (4), Kaniecki (3) and Rheam (1)
Goalie Druckemiller finished with six saves.
