Mifflin County golf outlasts Bellefonte in golf scramble

BELLEFONTE – The MIfflin County golf team competed today in a match at Bellefonte’s Nittany Country Club. This match was played under match play format instead of stroke play. Nine points were up for grabs in the match, and the Huskies came out on top by a 7-2 final score. Mifflin County was lead on the day by Jacob Bauman, Brendon Noerr, Gavin Knode, and Logan Ruth, each of whom earned 1.5 points toward the team total. Evan Breon rounded out the scoring for MC by earning one point.

The win now puts MC at 10-10 overall and 9-9 in mid penn keystone play. MC is back in action on September 5th at Iron Valley golf course, home of Palmyra.
