On fire; MC Girls junior high Varsity soar past East Penn 8-0

The offense continues to roll out the points.

Monday the MCJH Girls soccer dominated East Pennsboro, winning 8-0.

It would be a game that witnessed the Lady Huskies pound out 27 shots on goal while the Panthers only were allowed two.

Goalie Bailey McNitt only had two saves.

In Corners, Mifflin County also led in corner opportunities 5-2.

Brynn Knepp led the offensive explosion with six goals while teammate Sarah Henry had the other two.

Knepp scored early on an Aubrey Strohecker Assist at 3:27.

Knepp and Strohecker hooked up again at the 10-minute mark, making it 2-0.

The two were a strong force to be reckoned with as Knepp once again picked up a pass from Strohecker at 17:11 and notched another goal.

For goal number four, Knepp placed it in by herself at 19:15.

Knepp was almost unstoppable as she yet again picked up a pass from Strohecker and tickled the twine at 33:42.

In her last goal Knepp called her own number hitting an unassisted goal at 41:43.

Henry picked up her first goal at 46:51.

At 52.35 into the game, Henry rounded out the scoring with her second unassisted goal of the game, ending the scoring at 8-0.

In the JV Game , the Mifflin County Junior High Girls shut out the Panthers 2-0.

Goalie Paige Shugarts had three saves.

Arika Henry and Summer Shuey Both notched goals in the contest.
