On to the next round, Bald Eagle Area Beats Cambria Heights

The Bald Eagle Area Eagles beat Cambria Heights Varsity Highlanders 5-1 on Thursday.
Bald Eagle opened the scoring in the first after an error scored two runs.
Carson Lobick hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the fifth for the Cambria Heights.
Westin McClain earned the win for the Eagles. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and one run over seven innings, striking out nine and walking none. Garrett Jasper took the loss for the Highlanders. The starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on five hits, striking out one and walking two.
Tayten Yoder and Carson Nagle were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for the Eagles. Kahale Burns, McClain, Nagle, Kaden Burns, and Gavin Burns each collected one hit. Bald Eagle didn’t commit a single error in the field. Burns had the most chances in the field with 10.
Lobick went 1-for-2 at the plate as the infielder led the team with one run batted in. Cambria Heights turned one double play in the game.
