Penns Valley XC team shines at Spiked Shoe Invitational

Friday the Penns Valley Rams cross country team participated in the Harry Grove Spiked Shoe Invitational hosted by PSU.

The girls team finished in 8th place led by Senior Anna Stitzer finishing in 6trh place (20:00.4), Alexis Durn was 22nd (21:14.3), Ayva Fetterolf was 74th (26:53.9), Ann-Marie McMurtrie was 79th (27:37.9), and Annie Racette was 87th (33:53.6).

“The team continues to work hard and run with grit and determination. With such a young team they show improvement each race,” said Penns Valley coach Lynda Federinko.

The boys were led by McClain Reamer in 42nd (19:01.0), followed by Vince Smith in 73rd (21:31.7), and Dillon Reilly in 97th (26:06.5).
