Senior spotlight: Bellefonte jumper Phoebe Rowland

Phoebe Rowland is the senior spotlight for Thursday, March 26th.

Phoebe joined the team as a junior and made an immediate impact. Her senior season marks her second with the program with a focus on High Jump.

After Phoebe graduates from Bellefonte, she will be attending New Mexico Military Institute where she will be joining their ROTC/ECP. After graduating from NMMI, Phoebe plans to attend Syracuse University where she will major in PreMed.

Phoebe’s favorite memories from track and field include spending time at practice with Coach Schaub where they listen to The Eagles and several other 70’s and 80’s tunes.

Outside of track and field and school, Miss Rowland enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and making pottery.

If Phoebe has an opportunity to relax she either watches the TV show Friends or listens to Stevie Nicks.
