Senior spotlight: Bellefonte runner Austin Craig

The senior spotlight shines on Austin Craig today. Austin’s senior season is his third in track and field where he primarily is a 200m/400m specialist as well as a long jumper. After graduating from Bellefonte, Austin plans on attending Lock Haven University where he will study pre-engineering/physics as part of their 3-2 program with Penn State.

Austin’s all-time favorite memory occurred his junior year in which he and fellow teammates Logan VonGunden, Andrew Hovis, and Moryelle Fernandez set the indoor 4x200m record with a time of 1:43.55.

Aside from spending time with friends and family, Austin works at the local Rite-Aid and enjoys playing football. If he has time to turn on the television he will turn on football, hockey or basketball games.
