Strohecker helps lead charge over Williamsport

What a win!

Mifflin County’ Aubrey Strohecker dominated the field Saturday in their game against Williamsport.

Strohecker had a game to write home about as she finished the day with four goals and an assist, leading her team to a 7-0 shut out of Williamsport.

The Lady Huskies out shot the Millionaires 9-3 and controlled the corner opportunities by a 9-3 margin.

Offensively, the Huskies led in corners by an 8-1 tally.

Mifflin County goalie Bailey McNitt finished three saves while Williamsport tallied two by goalie Adelie Engel.

Strohecker started the scoring early at the time 8:45.

Leas than 10-minutes left Strohecker this time off of a pass from Brynn Knepp at 18:08.

Before the first half even ended, MC got a hat trick out of Strohecker on a second assist from Brynn Knepp at 21:10

In the second,  Knepp finially got her name into the scorebook with a penalty kick, upping it to a 4-0 contest.

Aubrey Strohecker  and Knepp hooked up again at the 55:50, upping it to a 5-0 lead.

Knepp hit her second unassisted goal at 58:21.

Maddie Finkenbiner ended the scoring for the game as she got a pass from Strohecker and then a goal close after at 69:34.

MC is now 4-2-1 League  and 5-4-1 MC’ next game is at home vs CD East 10/11.
